13. Glorification of Navadvipa-Dhama in Different Scriptures:

kalau sankirtanarambhe bhaviṣyāmi śaci-sutah 

svarnadi-tiram ästhāya navadvipe janāśraye 

tatra dvija-kula-śresthe bhavişyāmi dvijālaye

The Supreme Personality of Godhead said, "In Kali-yuga I will descend as the son of Saci-devi on the bank of the Gangā in the populated land of Navadvipa. I will appear in the home of a respectable brahmana at the inauguration of sankirtana." (Vayu Purana)

śāntātmā lamba-kanthaś ca gaurāńgaś ca surāvṛtah

"He will appear in a golden form as a peaceful soul with a long neck, surrounded by demigods." (Agni Purana)

sādhavaḥ kali-käle tu tyaktanya-tirtha-sevanam 

vendāranye 'thavā kşetre nava-khande vasanti vä

"In Kali-yuga, saintly persons will give up living in other holy places and will live in Vrndāvana or the land of Navadvipa." (Garuda Purana)

māyāpurim samāśritya kalau ye mam upāsate 

sarva-papa-vinirmuktās te yanti paramām gatim 

yat-tirtham vartate śrīman navadvipe vibhāgaśaḥ 

tat-tirtha-mahima tatra śata-koți-guņam kalau 

yathā cintamaneh sangat dhatu-mülyam pravardhate 

gaura-sangat tathā tirtha- māhātmyam parivardhate

"Those who worship Me in Kali-yuga while residing in Mäyäpurī will be freed from all sinful reactions and will achieve the supreme destination. Know that all holy places which separately reside in Navadvipa are one billion times more glorious in Kali-yuga. Just as metal in touch with a touchstone increases its value, the glory of a tirtha grows when it is in touch with Śrī Gauranga Mahaprabhu." (Skanda Purana)

māyā māyāpuri säkṣāt sarvānanda-vivardhini 

śri-garga-samhitāyām sā kīrtitā pāpa-nāśini

"Māyāpurī is directly māyā who increases everyone's happiness. The glories of that city which destroys all sin are narrated in Śri Garga-samhita." (Skanda Purana)

mäyä tu bilva-nīlād vä ganga-dvāra-vinirgată 

kuśāvarta-mayi dhrauvyä dhruva-mandala-madhyagā

"Mäyä has originated from Gangädvära or from Bilvanila-kşetra. It is manifested in Kuśāvarta, it is fixed and travels through the Dhruva-mandala." (Skanda Purana)

bhagavan-mandiräd rājann uttarasyām diši śrutam 

krośärdhe nṛpa-śārdūla māyā-tirtham manoharam

"O best of kings, I have heard that the attractive Māyā-tirtha extends from the Lord's temple and half a krośa towards the north." (Skanda Purana)

gangāyā dakşine bhāge navadvipe manohare 

kali-pāpa-vināśāya śaci-garbhe sanatanah 

janişyati priye miśra- purandara-grhe svayam 

phālgune paurnamāsyām ca niśāyām gaura-vigrahah

Lord Śiva said to goddess Candika: “O beloved one, on the southern side of the river Ganga in the pleasant Navadvīpa- dhama, the Supreme Lord Krsna will  appear to destroy the sins of Kali-yuga.”

He will take birth on the full-moon night of the month of Phalguna (February-March) in the house of Miśra Purandara from the womb of Saci-devī in a golden form." (Sri Visvasara Tantra)

tataḥ kāle ca sampräpte kalau ko 'pi mahā-nidhih 

hari-nama-prakāśāya ganga-tire janisyati

Lord Śiva (Śambhu) said to Pärvati “And then in the beginning of Kali-yuga a personality who is an ocean of good qualities will take birth on the bank of the Ganga to preach the holy names of Lord Hari." (Kularnava Tantra)

kalau pūrnānandas tri-bhuvana-jayi 

gaura-sutanur navadvipe jātaḥ 

suradhuni-samipe naraharih dadat pāpībhyaḥ 

samstutam api harer nāma sukṛtam 

taritvā pāpābdhim bhuvi vijayate 

śrī-gauracandrābhidhah

"That personality who is full of bliss and victorious all over the three planetary systems will arise near the Gangă in Navadvipa. He will have a beautiful golden form and will give sinful persons the purest hari-năma to deliver them from the ocean of sins. He is famous in the world as Lord Gauracandra." (Brhad-brahma-yamala Tantra)

vande gauravatāram kali-mala- mathanam śrī-navadvipa-väsam 

kanthe mālām dadhānam śruti-yuga- vilasat-svarna-samsakta-gandam keyürängada-divya-ratna-ghațitam bāhu-dvaye bibhratam 

bhaktebhyo dadatam malāpaharanam nämäpi sarvam hareh

"Gaurahari who lives in Navadvipa to destroy the sins of Kali-yuga, wears a flower garland on His neck, and shining golden earrings decorating His cheeks. His arms are decorated with armlets and bracelets inlaid with divine gems. He distributes the holy names of Hari, which destroy all sins, to the devotees. I worship that Śrī Gaurasundara." (Brhad-brahma-yamala Tantra)

jambudvīpe kalau ghore māyāpure dvijālaye 

janitvā pārşadaiḥ sārdham kīrtanam kārayışyati

"In the dark age of Kali-yuga, in Māyāpur within Jambudvipa, the Supreme Personality of Godhead will perform kirtana along with His associates. He will take birth in the house of a brahmaņa." (Kapila-tantra)

kurukşetram kṛte tirtham tretāyām puskaraih smrtam 

dvāpare naimişāranyam nava-khandam kalau kila

"Kurukşetra is the tirtha (purifying holy place) of Satya-yuga, Puşkara for Treta- yuga, Naimişāranya for Dvāpara-yuga and Navadvipa for Kali-yuga." (Mukti-sankalini Tantra)

athavāham dharādhāme bhūtvä mad-bhakta-rūpa-dhrk 

māyāyāṁ ca bhavişyāmi kalau sankirtanāgame

"Or else, I will descend in the form of My devotee in Kali-yuga at the beginning of the age of sankirtana on earth in Māyāpur." (Brahma-yamala)

punya-kşetre navadvipe bhaviṣyati śaci-sutah

"The son of Saci-devī will appear in the holy land of Navadvīpa." (Krsna-yamala)
