4. The Timeless Abode of the Lord
4. The Timeless Abode of the Lord:
The Supreme Lord Kṛṣṇa appears in Navadvīpa in every yuga to perform His transcendental pastimes.
In Satya-yuga, Lord Nṛsiṁha stopped over in Navadvīpa in Nṛsiṁhapalli to wash His hands after killing the demon Hiraṅyakaśipu. The demigods came to worship and associate with Lord Nṛsiṁha. Remains of their residences are still visible.
In Dvapara-yuga, the Pāṇḍavas lived some time incognito in Navadvīpa. King Samudra Sena, the ruling monarch of Navadvīpa at that time, fought so valiantly against Bhima that Lord Kṛṣṇa had to come defend Bhima. Although King Samudra Sena was also a devotee, he fought Bhima to receive darśana of his worshipable Lord Kṛṣṇa.

In Kali-yuga, the prema-avatāra Lord Caitanya revealed numerous transcendental forms and incarnations to His dear devotees.
